River View Estate resident Bradley Roe, 25, of the wealthy Roe family is out on bail of $500 after police allegedly busted him with cocaine at the Princess Ramada Hotel and Casino on Sunday, January 3.
Roe was released on police bail Sunday night and walked into the Belize City Magistrates Court with his attorney Leisja Barrow-Chung on Monday, January 4, to answer to a single charge of possession of a controlled drug, 0.02 grams of cocaine. He appeared before Magistrate Carlin Mason where he pleaded not guilty to the charge. There was no objection to bail by the prosecutor, Inspector Pablo Pinkney. Mason granted bail in the sum of $500 plus one surety of the same amount which he was able to meet immediately.

Police Constable Allan Domingo responded to a report and visited the Ramada Hotel and Casino where onboard a vessel “Charlie 22013” he saw a Hispanic male later identified as Bradley Roe. He was wearing a navy blue shirt, long blue jeans and slippers. PC Domingo approached and informed him that he will conduct a search for illegal drugs and firearm. Roe complied and during the search the officer found a small transparent plastic bag containing powdery substance suspected to be cocaine in his left pants pocket. As a result of the discovery, Roe was escorted to the police station where the suspected cocaine was weighed in his presence and amounted to 0.02 grams.
Bradley Roe is due back in court on March 3.
