A young man has been injured in Cotton Tree Village. Jordana Frusto, 34, Belizean Director of Vista Del Mar, Ladyville Village, Belize District, recently reported that her son Jonathan Zetina ,18, Belizean Laborer of the same address had gone missing. But whilst giving the report, her son exited a blue pickup truck, which was driven at the time by John Olivera, who reported that he had picked up Jonathan in Cotton Tree Village.

Police observed that blood was running down Jonathan Zetina’s face and he had a towel wrapped around his neck. Jordana Frusto then rushed her son to the Western Regional Hospital where he was seen with a cut wound to the left side of his head and middle and ring finger completely amputated at the first joint. Zetina also had a large cut to the back of his neck. He was later transported to Medical Associate’s in Belize City for further treatment. Police are looking for three (3) persons of interest in this case.
