Belmopan, 14th April, 2010.   

Investiture ceremonies were held today at Belize House for nine outstanding Belizean personalities.
His Excellency, the Governor-General of Belize, Sir Colville Young, bestowed the honour of Knight Commander of St. Michael and St. George on Rt. Hon. Manuel Esquivel; the

Order of Commander of the British Empire (CBE) on Henry Vallan Young Sr.; the Order of the British Empire for Reverend Charles David Goff and Romel Tiburcio Perdomo; the Order of Member of the British Empire was reserved for Kenny Morgan, Eulogio Cano, Senior J.P. ; Antonio Duncan McPherson J.P., Philip Norman Timmons J.P., and for Samuel Alexander Rhaburn. 
All honourees were present except for Kenny Morgan who had to absent himself on an emergency. Prior to each receiving their individual insignias, His Excellency Sir Colville read out a short biography of each, detailing their outstanding achievements and meritorious service and experience.
