The Belize City Softball Interoffice competition is heating up as teams are improving rapidly. The competition has officially passed the halfway mark and Belize City Council and Ministry of Education/First Caribbean Bank were the last two undefeated teams remaining. However, MOE/First Caribbean has fallen from the realm of perfection and has suffered two losses in the past week.

The softball team of the Belize City Council, on the other hand, remains with an

unblemished record as they trampled the teams from Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, CYDP and Truckers Posse. On Tuesday, November 10, City Council launched three home-runs; including a grand slam from Glenford Flowers as they went on to defeat KHMH by mercy rule in five innings with a score 15-5. They added two more home runs in a 24-4 statement against CYDP on Wednesday, November 11. Citco also defeated Truckers Posse in mercy rule style with a score of 13-6 in five innings on Sunday. The winning pitcher in all three games was Enid Dakers.
