Game one was played at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio Town, in which the home team Hankook Verdes defeated the visiting FC Belize by the score of 1-0.Edon Rowley scored the only goal of the game in the 82nd minute of play to give Hankook Verdes the victory and the lead in the series. The second game in this series is scheduled for Sunday November 22, 2009, at the MCC Grounds in Belize City at 4:00 pm. Meanwhile, the other series between the Belize Defence Force and the San Pedro Dolphins will commence this Wednesday November 18, at 7:00 pm at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga Town. |
The Belize Premier Football League entered its semi-final round on Sunday November 15, with its home and away series between Hankook Verdes and FC Belize.
