The National Elite Basketball League competition continued on Thursday 10th March, 2016, at the UB Gymnasium in the City of Belize between the visiting Belize City No Limit Team and the host team the Belmopan Bandits.

In the game played, the Belmopan Bandits defeated the Belize City No Limit Team by the score of 81-70. The top scorers for the Belmopan Bandits were Nick Brown with 17 points, 5 rebounds and a steal; Jarrel Velasquez also with 17 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists and Stephen Williams with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.

For the visiting Belize City No Limit Team, the top scorers were Gregory Rudon with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals; Keith Acosta with 13 points and 11 rebounds and Michael Bables also with 13 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 2 steals.

On Friday 11 March, 2016, two games were played, at the Sacred Heart College Auditorium in San Ignacio Town, the Cayo Western Ballaz edged out the visiting Dangriga Warriors by the score of 63-61.

The top scorers for the Cayo Western Ballaz were James Milton with 22 points and 15 rebounds; Brandon Flowers with 11 points and 13 rebounds and Ivan Flowers also with 11 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist. For the visiting Dangriga Warriors, the top scorers were Jaes Ewing with 17 points and 11 rebounds, Macario Augustine with 13 points and 14 rebounds and Edgar Mitchell who contributed 10 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists all in a losing effort.

Meanwhile, at the Belize Elementary School Gymnasium in Belize City, the league’s leading Smart Belize Hurricanes continued on its winning path when it defeated the two times defending champions the San Pedro Tiger Sharks by the score of 78-69.

The top scorers for the Smart Belize Hurricanes were Farron Louriano with 29 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals; Brian White with 13 points, 17 rebounds, and a steal and Leroy Louriano with 11 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal.

For the San Pedro Tiger Sharks the top scorers were Caleb Sutton with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals and Gene Myvett with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal.

And on Saturday 12 March, at the Stann Creek Ecumenical High School Auditorium in Dangriga Town, the Dangriga Warriors won easily over the Independence Thunderbolts by the score of 111-77.

The top scorers for the Dangriga Warriors were Daniel Nolberto with 21 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists; Akeem Trapp with 16 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals and Edgar Mitchell with 15 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals.

For the Independence Thunderbolts, the top scorers were, Hyram Augustine with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals; Aaron Valerio with 15 points, 3 rebounds and a steal and Arnold Torres with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
