The Ahmidiyya U-19 Basketball tournament continued on Sunday March 12th, 2017, at the Gateway Youth Centre.

In the first game of the day, Belama Gators edged out the highly talented New Road squad by the score of 51-48. The top scorer for the Belama Gators was Jason Philips with 14 points while Holden Swazo was the top scorer for the New Road team with 15 points.

In game two, Gateway won over Bombers via the default route.

In the third game of the day, 3rd World won over Raising Stars by the score of 45-43. The top scorers for 3rd World was Mark Thompson with 11 points and the top scorer for Raising Stars was Alphius Cruz with 18 points.

In game four, Chiefs won handily over Police Street by the score of 50-41. The top scorer for the Chiefs was Shaquille Crawford with 9 points and the top scorer for Police Street was Everald Tablada with 10 points.

And in the final game of the day, Truckers won over Spartans by the score of 50-41. The top scorer for Truckers was Syndey Bradley with 18 points while Jason Arnold top scored with 13 points for the Spartans.

The tournament will continue this coming Sunday 19th March, 2017, with five more games on the schedule.
