On Monday, April 10, Norman Humes was brought before Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith where he was read a single charge of exposing his person in public.

According to police, they saw the 62 year old man on Sunday, April 9th with his private part exposed in a public place, Queen Charlotte Street in Belize City. He was placed in police custody, read his rights by P.C. S. Tun, and charged with a misdemeanor.

In court before Smith, Humes told the magistrate that he was leaned against a lamppost where he was urinating. Smith discharged Humes of the offense and he was freed to leave. Neither a fine nor time in prison was imposed on him.
