Jamaal Warrior charged for having sex with a minor Print E-mail

Jamaal Warrior, who has been charged before with robbery and firearm offenses, is now being charged with four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse. Warrior, who was already in prison, was transferred to the court on a removal warrant. He was brought before Magistrate Carlon Mendoza on April 20, 2017 where he was read his charges.

Warrior, who was unrepresented in court, was read four charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. No plea was taken as the charges are being dealt with on indictment. Warrior was not offered bail and was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until June 20, 2017.

The minor alleges that Warrior first had sexual intercourse with her on November 21, 2016. The fourteen-year-old also alleges that the second and third times were on November 24 then on November 26, 2016. The fourth occasion, according to the minor, was sometime between January 16th and 20th, 2017.
