Belize’s 47th National Agriculture and Trade Show, which was held on April 28th, 29th and 30th at the National Show Grounds in Belmopan  has successfully been completed to excellent reviews. Preliminary data released by the Department of Agriculture shows that some 40,000 persons visited the show grounds over the three good weather days; exceeding last year’s 39,000

Gary Ramirez, Chairman of the National Agriculture Trade Show NATS committee reports that some 110 new businesses were present for this year’s event. Given the show of numbers by Belizeans from across the Country, it was a clear opportunity for business and agricultural related displays to obtain maximum exposure.

As with every year, the National Rodeo and Livestock Show held on Saturday attracted huge crowds. Justacio Tush, a participant of the show reports that for the first time the Toledo District was represented at the show by the “San Vicente Toledo Cowboys.”
