Hummingbird Elementary girls and Holy Redeemer boys win Belize District Primary Schools Volleyball Print E-mail

The 2016-2017 Belize District Primary Schools Volleyball championship took place on Wednesday 3rd May, 2017, at the Belize Elementary School Auditorium.

In the girls’ championship game, Hummingbird Elementary School won over Belize Elementary School in two sets by the score of 25-13 and 25-16 to capture the Belize District Primary Schools Volleyball championship.

In the boys’ championship game, Holy Redeemer School won over Belize Elementary School by the score of 25-21, 25-18 to capture the Belize District Primary Schools Volleyball championship.

In the first game of the day played in the girls’ competition, Belize Elementary School won over St. Therese Roman Catholic School by the score of 25-3 and 25-2.

In the second girls’ game, Hummingbird Elementary School won over San Pedro Roman Catholic School by the score of 25-8 and 25-12.

In the first game in the boys’ championship, Belize Elementary School won over St. Therese Roman Catholic School by the score of 25-7 and 25-2.

And in the second game, Holy Redeemer School won over San Pedro Roman Catholic School by the score of 25-13 and 25-9.

Hummingbird Elementary School girls and Holy Redeemer School boys will represent the Belize District at the National Primary Schools Volleyball championship scheduled for Thursday 18th May, 2017, in Belize City.
