The Pan American Cycling Union held its Men U-23 Pan Am Individual Time Trial Championship on Friday 5th May, 2017, in San Domingo, Domingo Republic.

The Men’s U-23 Individual Time Trial championship saw the participation of some 25 countries from across the Pan American Region including Belize.

At the end of the 30Km event, it was Costa Rican Jose Alexis Rodriguez Villalobos who took first place in a time of 0:37:53. Villalobos was followed by Ian Garrison from the United States of America, and he was followed by German Nicolas Tivani Perez of Argentina and he was followed by Facundo Crisafulli also of Argentina and he was followed by Colombian Julian Cardona Tabares to round off the top five finishers in the U-23 category.

Belize’s Giovanni Lovell finished in the 22nd place in a time of a6:26 and he was followed by his teammate Tarique Flowers who finished 23rd out of 25 riders.
