The 2017 Raymond Garbutt Cayo Senior Female competition which is sponsored by the Hon. John Saldivar continued on Sunday 28th May, at the softball pitch in Unitedville with three games on the schedule.

In the first game played, Unitedville Rebels United defeated the Esperanza Wolverines by the score of 8-1. The winning pitcher was Lisa Jones and the losing pitcher was Olivia Miralda.

In game two, Belmopan Bandits won over the Belmopan Capital City Emeralds by the score of 7-0. The winning pitcher was Ashley Lucas and the losing pitcher was Aludy Arthurs. Bandits’ Ashley Lucas hit a home run in the game helping her own cause.

And in the final game of the day, Unitedville Rebels United defeated Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy by the score of 3-1. The winning pitcher was Francine Salazar and the losing pitcher was Leandra Guy.

The competition will continue this coming Sunday June 4 at the Joan Garbutt Softball Stadium in Esperanza Village with three more games on the schedule.

In the first game scheduled for 1:00 pm Belmopan Bandits will go up against Esperanza Wolverines and this will be followed by game two which will feature Unitedville Rebels United against the Belmopan Emeralds and in the final game of the day, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy will see action against Esperanza Wolverines.
