A 52-year-old maintenance worker of Ladyville has been fined $150 for being in possession of a pipe. He is Edward Quilter. In court, Quilter, who was unrepresented, pleaded guilty to the charge of the possession of a pipe before Magistrate Carlon Mendoza on June 6, 2017.

He was allegedly found to be in possession of a metal pipe used for the administration of drugs. He was found on Monday, June 5, 2017. In court, after he pleaded guilty, he begged to be spared jail time if he made sure he pays the fine. With that, Magistrate Mendoza ordered a non-custodial sentence of $150 plus the $5.00 fine of court to be paid on or before August 7, 2017 in default of 2 months imprisonment.
