The Raymond Garbutt Cayo Senior Female Softball Competition continued on Sunday 11th June with three games on the schedule at the Raymond Garbutt Softball Pitch in Roaring Creek Village.

In the first game played, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy won over the Belmopan Emeralds by the score of 9-1. The winning pitcher was Leandra Guy and the losing pitcher was Aludy Arthurs.

In game two, Belmopan Bandits defeated Unitedville Rebels United by the score of 10-2. The Belmopan Bandits offence was keyed by Karlene Lewis’ 2 run home run. The winning pitcher was Ashley Lucas and the losing pitcher was Nikita Perez.

And in the final game of the day, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy won handily over the Belmopan Bandits by the score of 10-0. Grace Kennedy’s Shadalee Ho hit a Grand Slam during the game. The winning pitcher was Leandra Guy and the losing pitcher was Ashley Lucas.

The competition will continue this coming Sunday 17th June out at the Mae Gordon Sports Field in the City of Belmopan with three games on the schedule. In the first game which is set for 12:00 pm Belmopan Emeralds will go up against Unitedville Rebels United. In game two, Esperanza Wolverines will see actions against the Unitedville Rebels United and in the final game of the day, Belmopan Emeralds will do battle with the Esperanza Wolverines.
