A 34-year-old Indian national and store manager of Corozal Town, Avinash Deshmukh, reported that on Friday, 23rd June, 2017, he flew from Ranchito Village to San Pedro Town leaving his silver 4-Runner parked in the parking lot. The flight arrived in San Pedro where he collected whole sale and retail proceeds from his store amounting to a total of about $54,000.00.

He reportedly flew back to Corozal and after getting off the plane in Ranchito, he walked over to his vehicle and he noticed a grey 4-Door car parked behind his vehicle. As he opened his vehicle, two male persons, one armed with a hand gun, jumped out of the vehicle and robbed him of the back pack containing all the money. In the process he was reportedly hit to his head causing a cut wound to the top of his head.  Police are investigating.
