Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy inch closer to defend Cayo Association Softball title Print E-mail

The Cayo Softball Association commenced its playoffs round of the 2017 Raymond Garbutt Softball Competition, which is being sponsored by the Hon. John Saldivar, on Sunday 30th July at the Softball pitch in Roaring Creek Village.

In the first game of the playoffs, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy, the number one seed defeated the Esperanza Wolverines the number four seed by the score of 12-2. The winning pitcher was Leandra Guy and the losing pitcher was Olivia Miralda.

In the second game of the day, Belmopan Bandits the number two seed won handily over the Unitedville Rebels United the number three seed by the score of 15-4. The winning pitcher was Ashley Lucas and the losing pitcher was Francine Salazar.

The playoffs will continue on Sunday 6th August, 2017, at the Softball pitch in Roaring Creek Village at 1:00 pm with Esperanza Wolverines going up against Unitedville Rebels United, with the loser going home.

And in the second game of the day, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy will see action against the Belmopan Bandits.
