Kendall Green, a 24-year-old victim of a stabbing incident, is behind bars after he was accused of being involved in a shooting incident. Green appeared unrepresented before Senior Magistrate Sharon Fraser on August 14, 2017.

Green is being accused of injuring 27-year-old Marvin Ramirez during a shooting incident which occurred on Thursday, August 10, 2017 on Antelope Street Extension. Also shot and injured was 34-year-old Ryan Arnold. Both men have been listed in a stable condition.

At his arraignment, Green was read two criminal charges: use of deadly means of harm upon Ramirez and wounding of Ramirez. Due to the nature of the offense, no plea was taken from him and bail was denied.

Green believes that the police only pulled him in because of the recent death of a friend in the city. According to Green, the police believe that he retaliated for the murder of his friend. He further stated that as a victim of a stabbing incident, he was considered medically unfit to work for a year and as a result, he was recovering at home.

Unfortunately for Green, he will have to continue his recovery at the Belize Central Prison. Green is due back in court on October 19, 2017.
