There is a certain “Im-Pastor” who has his panties all tied up in a bundle over the proposed tabling of the amendment to the Misuse of Drugs Act to Decriminalize Marijuana. This guy is all over social media spewing lies and haft truths linking the decriminalization of 10 grams of Cannabis to the end of the world. In one of his posts he cites a study carried out by Dr. Natalie Castellanos Ryan at a University in Montreal Canada as his authority for opposing this move. What he failed to mention is that the effects of smoking marijuana are social in nature and not neurological.

The report states ‘The results of this study suggest that the effects of cannabis use on verbal intelligence are explained not by neurotoxic effects on the brain, but rather by a possible social mechanism,’ Dr. Castellanos-Ryan said.

‘Adolescents who use cannabis are less likely to attend school and graduate, which may then have an impact on the opportunities to further develop verbal intelligence.’

This disingenuous creature also failed to mention that the social, legal, family and other structures in Canada and Belize are as different as apples and oranges which are grown respectively by these two countries which he pretends to compare. Had the effects been physiological or neurological he may have had an argument, but in typical Louise fashion he spews these untruths and hopes the Belizean populace would jump on his disruptive, deceitful bandwagon.

Louise needs to get off that pulpit of deception and embrace the changing times. He needs to be given a little lesson in history and taken back to the times of the Prohibition in the USA when alcohol was illegal. It was legalized Louise. Alcohol is by far more destructive and damaging to health and it is legal.

Here is a little passage for the “Im-pastor”, Genesis 1:29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.” Read yo Bible Louise.
