| Belizean artist is robbed near cemetery |

On August 29, 2017 at 8:00 a.m., 21-year-old Christiane Young, a Belizean Artist of 8 Miles, reported that while walking in the Lord Ridge Cemetery earlier that morning, she was approached by a male person who robbed her at gunpoint of her black purse valued at .00 containing 0.00 and a Samsung galaxy Note 5 cell phone in a black case valued at 0.00. The male person then made good his escape heading into the Lord Ridge Cemetery. Police investigations continue. Just this year, Tanya Carter and Sharon Martinez were also victims of a similar crime. Young took to Facebook to share her ordeal. Instead of feeling downtrodden, Young said that she will use the experience to build herself up and that regardless, she will be performing at the Sir Barry Bowen Belikin Bash which takes place starting August 31, 2017. |
