The children from Belmopan will continue to benefit from a feeding program being coordinated by their local Police. On Thursday of last week Howell Gillett, Officer Commanding Belmopan Police signed to an agreement with Recino’s Imports from San Ignacio, which will now see 140 students of two primary schools from the Belmopan Police Jurisdiction receiving breakfast cereal.

Belmopan Police already had a midday program that fed 75 kids, but in their interaction have discovered that there were kids who were not eating before coming to school.

“These initiatives will not only help in the present but also in the future. Helping young people to become productive adults. Thanks to Mr Jorge Recinos for signing this indefinite agreement with the Belmopan police,” posts Howell Gillett.
