On the morning of Tuesday September 5 a set of triplets were delivered at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. The two boys Marlon, Malrick and girl Miracle were brought to the world by way of C-Section and weighed an average of 5lbs. On Wednesday of this week the triplets were officially introduced having been born to 20 year Virginia Garnett who saw the C-section performed on her by Dr. Jose Guerra.

The birth of one child presents its challenges and more so the birth of three.  With those challenges in mind, that the KHMH solicited the help of the business community to aid with supplies necessary for the care of the babies.

As a result of the appeal, there were responses from the Ministry of Health, the Special Envoy for Women and Children’s Office, Grace Kennedy Belize Ltd, Price Premeire Products, San Cas Ltd, Brodies, Atlantic Insurance, Kids Kouture, Friends of Pediatrics, Hospital Auxilliary, and the Rotary Club of Belize who provided numerous products to assist Garnett as she undertakes raising her children. While there has been assistance so far, these babies will require constant care and if anyone else would like to donate they can do so by reaching out to telephone number 6349272. Every bit helps.
