On September 10, 2017 around 10:15 p.m., police visited the KHMH where they saw 26-year-old Darwin Martinez, a graphic designer of Mayflower Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to the left upper back and one to the left upper chest area.

Investigation reveals that a few minutes earlier, Martinez seated at the front passenger seat of a car along with his uncle, driver of the vehicle, and while passing on Ebony Street, he heard several shots. He later realized that he had been shot.

The victim has since been released from the KHMH after which statements were recorded. The police are fairly certain that the shooting was a random shooting, unrelated to the Conch Shell Bay and Lindo’s Alley rivalry. One person is currently being sought who might be of assistance in indentifying the second person allegedly involved in the incident.
