The 2017 Conscious Youth Development Programme Peace Cup Football competition commenced on Saturday September 24, at the MCC Grounds with three games on the schedule.

In the first game played, Kelly Street defeated Police United FC by the score of 10-1.

The goals for Kelly Street were scored by Steven Baizar (4), Kennen Lopez, Tarique Muschamp, Delroy Andrews, Robert Sutherland (own goal), John King and Naim Wilson. Meanwhile, the only goal of the game for the Police United FC was scored by Jeremy Archer.

In game two, Belize Defence Force Warriors won over Face of Belize via the default route.

And in the final game of the day, Stars Academy defeated Ebony Lake FC by the score of 3-1.

The goals for Stars Academy were scored by Sergio Luna (2) and Dion Cacho, while the only goal of the game for Ebony Lake FC was scored by Marguise Stamp.

The competition then continued on Sunday 25th with three more games on the schedule. In the first game played, Elite FC defeated Tut Bay by the score of 2-1.

In game two, Police Street FC won over Third World FC by the score of 5-1. While in the third and final game of the day, R&G City Boys won over Survivor FC via the default route.

The competition will continue this coming weekend at the MCC Grounds.
