The Conscious Youth Development Programme 2017 Peace Cup Football competition continued at the MCC Grounds over the last weekend with a number of games on the schedule.

On Saturday 30th September, in the first game of the day, King’s Park Strikers defeated the BDF Warriors by the score of 4-0.

The goals for the King’s Park Strikers were scored by Travis Eiley, Chris Flores, Jose Martinez and Julius Allen.

In the second game of the day, Stars Academy blasted 3rd World by the score of 11-3. The goals for Stars Academy were scored by Shemar Thompson (2), Stephan Diego (2), Harold Thompson, Djean Thompson, Sergio Luna, Charles Canton and Dennis Zuniga.

Meanwhile, the goal scorers for 3rd World were Steven White (2) and Rahiem Flowers.

And in the final game of the day, Face of Belize won via the default route over the Police United FC.

The competition then continued on Sunday 1st October, 2017, with 3 more games. In the first game of the day, Ebony Lake won over Survivor FC by the score of 3-0.

The goals for Ebony Lake were scored by Trayon Martinez, Jermaine Zuniga and Simeon Alvarez.

In game two, Police Street FC defeated R&G City Boys by the score of 2-0. The goals for Police Street FC were scored by Tarique Ciego.

And in the final game of the day, Tut Bay FC and Kelly Street FC played to a 2-2 draw.

The goals for Tut Bay FC were scored by Devaugh Zuniga and Kevin Alvarez, while the goals for Kelly Street FC were scored by Tayreek Muschamp and John King.

The competition will continue this coming weekend.
