BTL Supervisor on bail for allegedly wounding his estranged common-law wife Print E-mail

A Senior Supervisor at the Belize Telemedia Limited was in court on Monday, October 30, 2107 to answer to criminal charges of wounding and damage to private property made against him by his estranged common-law wife. He is 51-year- old Colin Craig.

In court where he was represented by attorney Tricia Pitts, Craig appeared before Magistrate Aretha Ford. He pleaded not qualify charges.

The allegations made against Craig were based on reports made by his estranged common-law wife, 43-year-old Patricia Gonzalez. According to Gonzalez, Craig slapped her in the face and then during an altercation, he took her iPhone valued at $1,500 and hit it against a wall.

Bail was offered in the sum of $2,500 plus one surety of the same which he was able to meet. Craig is due back in court on December 20, 2017.
