A salesman of Liberty Store, 21-year-old Norman Vernon, is accused of committing an armed robbery upon a pizza delivery man and now he finds himself on remand at the Belize Central Prison. Vernon appeared unrepresented before Magistrate Aretha Ford on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 to answer to a single charge of robbery.

The allegations against Vernon are that on Monday, October 30, 2017, he stole 2 large pizzas, a black wallet containing $150, a JEC shop ticket, registration papers for a motorcycle, and various other documents all to a total of $507.50. The crime was committed against Yonardo Rash with the use of a firearm.

Vernon pleaded not guilty to the charge but due to the nature of the offense, he was denied bail and remanded into custody until December 21, 2017.
