Roma Usher, a woman claiming to be a relative of PUP standard bearer Gilroy Usher Sr., is suing Usher through the civil court for the sum of $10,000. On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, the Ushers appeared before Magistrate Michelle Trapp.

Roma, who presented her own case, is alleging that the PUP Port Loyola standard bearer owes her money in the sum of $10,000 which should have been forwarded to her Atlantic Bank account. She told the magistrate that the sum of $150 was to be paid weekly and that they had both a written and verbal agreement but Gilroy never kept up the agreement. Roma, however, was unable to present that document in court.

With that, the case was adjourned for November 14, 2017 to give Roma time to gather the necessary documents.
