On November 11, 2017 at about 12:30 p.m., police responded to a shooting incident on Magazine Road in Belize City. Upon visiting the Matron Roberts Polyclinic, they observed 41-year-old Clinton Dale Abraham, a Belize City driver, with a single gunshot wound to the left knee.

Initial police investigation revealed that Abraham was riding his bicycle on Magazine Road heading toward Cemetery Road and upon reaching in front of the Matron Roberts Polyclinic, a dark skinned male person riding in the opposite direction fired a single shot at him causing his injury. Abraham was transported to the KHMH where he’s listed in a stable condition.

Police have since arrested and charged 26-year-old Eugene Anthony Frazer, an employee of Transparent BPO, in relation to the shooting. Frazer was charged with use of deadly means of harm and wounding.

Frazer was arraigned on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 before Chief Magistrate Sharon Fraser where he was represented by attorney Herbert Panton. A plea was not taken from Frazer and due to the nature of the offense, he was not granted bail and was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until January 9, 2018.
