On Friday December 15 the Ministry of Education cut the ribbon declaring open a six classroom building at the Julian Cho Technical High School in the Toledo District. The addition of the new classrooms is part of the Ministry of Education’s school financing reform project.

The new school building is 30ft wide by 240ft in length. And with a student population of 975, the new addition to the technical and vocational school is a welcomed one as it will significantly alleviate overcrowding of existing classrooms.

The building comes at a cost of $706,000 and was financed by the Government of Belize.
