Christmas is looking brighter this year for three women after their luck cashed in. The Guardian Newspaper held three raffles in light of this holiday season. In two raffles, winners walked away with cash and in the third, a very hefty Christmas hamper was given away. In the first two, Delvorine Cole and Brendalee Buckley were lucky to walk away with the cash.

Especially lucky this Christmas was Delcie Tzib of San Ignacio. According to Tzib, she entered over 20 raffle tickets with hopes to walk away with the prize. What did she win exactly? She won boxes and boxes of groceries that included eggs, cranberry sauce, cleaning materials, linoleum, pounds of potatoes, onions, and other salad staples, 2 bottles of Traveler’s Rumpopo as well as other liquors,  apples, grapes and pears. Tzib also won toys for girls and boys.

But Christmas wouldn’t be complete without soft drinks, beers and stouts, turkeys and hams, and, of course, black and white cakes. Luckily, Tzib also won those as well: a crate of soda and a mixed crate of beers and stouts from Bowen and Bowen and a turkey, a ham shoulder, and a ham leg and her cakes.
