The Belize City Primary Schools Volleyball Competition continued at the Stars Gym in Belize City.

On Tuesday 23rd January, in the first game played in the girls’ competition,

The Belize City Primary Schools Volleyball competition began on Monday 22nd January, 2018 with four games on the schedule. In the first game played in the girls’ competition, Hummingbird Elementary School defeated St. Ignatius School by the score of 25-15 and 25-19. In the second game played in the girls’ competition, St. Joseph Primary School defeated Queen Square Anglican School by the score of 25-8 and 25-2.

In the first of two games played in the boys’ competition, Belize Elementary School defeated Queen Square Anglican School in two sets by the score of 25-14 and 25-19. And in the second game played, Salvation Army School won over St. Martin De Porres School in three sets by the score of 25-27, 25-10 and 15-6.

On Friday 19th January, 2018, in the only game played in the girls’ competition, St. Ignatius School defeated St. Joseph School by the score of 25-8 and 25-17.

In the boys’ game, St. Joseph School defeated Salvation Army Primary School in two sets by the score of 25-18 and 25-19.

The competition will continue on Friday 26th January, 2018 with four games on the schedule. In the first game in the girls’ competition at 1:30 pm Queen Square Anglican School will go up against Hummingbird Elementary School. This will be followed by the first game in the boys’ competition that will feature Queen Square Anglican School against Salvation Army School and then St. Joseph Primary School against St. Martin De Porres School.

In the last game of the day, which is a girls’ game, Belize Elementary School will do battle with St. Martin De Porres School.
