On Sunday, February 25, 2018 acting upon information, police visited the Western Regional Hospital where they spoke to Adolfo Flores, 29-years-old. Flores reported that at about 11:50 p.m. while socializing at a bar in Arizona Village, he got into a misunderstanding with a male person known to him as Alex Hernandez. An unknown male person who was along with Hernandez took out what appeared to be a 9mm pistol and fired two shots in the air and two in his direction, one of which caught him to his left leg and exited through the back of said leg.

Police investigation has led to the arrest of one man. Jose Herrera, a 58-year-old man of Santa Teresa Village, he was formally arrested on Monday, February 27, 2018 for the use of deadly means of harm and attempted murder.
