St. John Vianney School girls win two in primary schools softball competition Print E-mail

The Belize City Primary Schools Softball competition continues at Roger Stadium with a number of games played.

On Tuesday 13th March, in the first of two games played in the girls’ competition, St. John Vianney School defeated Queen Square Anglican School by the score of 12-2. The winning pitcher was Kiara Mohammad Ali and the losing pitcher was Kenya smith.

In the second girls’ game, St. John Vianney School defeated St. Luke Methodist School by the score of

13-6. The winning pitcher was Kiara Mohammad Ali and the losing pitcher was Judith Estell.

In the first of two games played in the boys’ competition, Queen Square Anglican School won over its sister school St. Mary’s Primary School via the default route.

And in the final game of the day which was also played in the boys’ competition, Wesley Upper School defeated Calvary Temple School by the score of 5-0. The winning pitcher was Kamron Gentle and the losing pitcher was Charles Jenkins.

On Friday 9th March, in the girls game played, St. John’s Primary School defeated Wesley Upper School

By the score of 8-7. The winning pitcher was Joyce Brown and the losing pitcher was Tasheeka Tillett.

In the boys’ game, St. John’s Primary also defeated Wesley Upper School by the score of 6-4. The winning pitcher was Raheem Garbutt and the losing pitcher was Kamron Gentle.

And on Thursday 8th March, in the girls game played, Central Christian School defeated Queen Square Anglican School by the score of 12-3. The winning pitcher was Yasmin Weir and the losing pitcher was Jennifer Cassanova.

In the boys’ game, Salvation Army School won over Queen Square Anglican School by the score of 12-3. The winning pitcher was Terrence St. Clair and the losing pitcher was Teashaun Jones.
