Belize City Primary Schools softball finals set for April 9 Print E-mail

The semi-final round of the Belize City Primary Schools Softball competition took place on Friday 16th March, 2018, at Rogers Stadium.

In the first game in the girls’ semi-final round, Central Christian School eliminated Buttonwood Bay Nazarene School by the score of 8-7. The winning pitcher was Yasmin Weir and the losing pitcher was Evelyn Martinez.

In the girls’ second semi-final game, St. John’s Primary School eliminated St. John Vianney School by the score of 4-3. The winning pitcher was Joyce Brown and the losing pitcher was Kiara Mohammad Ali.

In the boys’ semi-final round, in game one played, St. John’s Primary School eliminated St. Luke Methodist School by the score of 17-0. The winning pitcher was Raheem Garbutt and the losing pitcher was De Andy Flowers.

And in the second semi-final game, Salvation Army School eliminated Wesley Upper School by the score of 5-4. The winning pitcher was Terrence St. Clair and the losing pitcher was Kamron Gentle.

The city championship in both the girls and boys division will be played on Monday 9th April, 2018, at 1:15 pm at the Rogers Stadium. In the girls’ championship game, Central Christian School will go up against St. John’s Primary School and in the boys’ championship, Salvation Army School will battle with St. John’s Primary School.
