The 2018 Belize Rural Central Basketball competition which is being sponsored by the Hon. Beverly Williams continued last week end in Ladyville with four games played.

On Saturday 21st April, in the first game of the evening played, Diginet Assassins defeated B-Wood by the score of 75-65.

The top scorers for the Diginet Assassins were Kadeem Olivera with 21 points and Orlando Ferguson with 16 points. For the B-Wood squad, the top scorers were Lyndon Swift with 17 points and Justin Wade with 14 points.

In the second game of the night, Hard Rock won over Ladyville Heatz by the score of 76-54.

The top scorers for Hard Rock were Kevin Hamilton with 15 points and Jayford Cacho with 10 points.

Meanwhile, the top scorers for the Ladyville Heatz were Aaron Johnson with 12 points and Glenford Bennett with 11 points,

On Friday 20th April, in the first game of the night, L. B. Warriors defeated New Release by the score of 67-59.

The top scorers for the L.B. Warriors were Mark Hilton with 19 points and Raheem Baptist with 10 points,

For New Release, the top scorers were Jason Palacio with 17 points and Kevin Young with 10 points,

In the second and final game of the night, Mayan Man defeated Boom by the score of 100-98.

The top scorers for Mayan Man were Sheldon Williams and Earl Johnson with 26 points each.

For Boom, the top scorers were Tyrone Baptist with 34 points and Rushane Flowers with 21 points.

The competition will continue this coming weekend with four more games on the schedule.

On Friday 27th April, in game one Lord’s Bank Eagles will go up against L. B. Warriors and in the second game of the night, Gorilla Cutz will see action against Mayan Man.

On Saturday 28th April in game one, Airport T Squad will go up against Boom and in the night cap, Street Kings will do battle with New Release.
