Accident Victim Christian Charles, a 26 year-old from Burrell Boom Village, died after suffering for 8 days at the KHMH. Police and all those closest to him think he was run over by a hit-and-run driver, but so far, there is no overt evidence to corroborate what is only a theory at this time.

Police say that at around 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, April 15th, 2018, they travelled to the Burrell Boom road where they found Charles lying on the ground. He was suffering from several injuries to different parts of his body including scratches on the face, fractured ribs, a punctured lung, 2 broken legs, 2 broken arms, and other injuries to the chest area.

He was rushed to the KHMH where the doctors tried their best to save his life, but unfortunately he passed away.

Police investigation is that he was walking on the road, and it is believed that he was hit by a vehicle while walking home. His family says that he went out to enjoy a social event, and while heading home, someone ran him over. His family is very hurt that they have no idea who did it, and especially because the person did not stop and render assistance.

Police say that they are investigating, but they have not yet arrested anyone, and neither do they have any suspects at this time.
