The 2017-2018 National Primary Schools Softball Championship was played on Friday 27th April, at Rogers Stadium in Belize City. In the championship game, Silk Grass Methodist Primary School representing the Stann Creek District defeated San Antonio Government School representing the Corozal District by the score of 3-2 to capture the national title. The winning pitcher was Sherilee Pixabaj and the losing pitcher was Yatana Mossiah. In the third place game, Belize Rural Primary School representing the Belize District defeated Forest Home Methodist School representing the Toledo District by the score of 13-1 to take third place. The winning pitcher was Kelsey Pook and the losing pitcher was Marlene Bahadur. In the first semi-final game, San Antonio Government School defeated Forest Home Methodist School by the score of 6-5. The winning pitcher was Yatana Mossiah and the losing pitcher was Marlene Bahadur. In the second semi-final game, Silk Grass Methodist School defeated Belize Rural Primary School by the score of 9-2. The winning pitcher was Sherilee Pixabaj and the losing pitcher was Kelsey Pook. In the first game of the day, San Antonio Government School won over St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic School representing the Cayo District by the score of 8-6. The winning pitcher was Yatana Mossiah and the losing pitcher was Nyeisha Obando. In game two, Belize Rural Primary School won over Carmelita Government School representing the Orange Walk District by the score of 4-1. The winning pitcher was Kelsey Pook and the losing pitcher was Briah Conorquie. In the third game of the day, San Antonio Government School edged out Silk Grass Methodist School by the score of 4-3. The winning pitcher was Yatana Mossiah and the losing pitcher was Sherilee Pixabaj. In game four, Forest Home Methodist School defeated Carmelita Government School by the score of 6-2. The winning pitcher was Marlene Bahadur and the losing pitcher was Briah Conorquie. In the fifth game of the first one, Silk Grass Methodist School defeated St. Francis Xavier RC School by the score of 17-4. The winning pitcher was Sherilee Pixabaj and the losing pitcher was Nyeisha Obando. And in the final game of the regular round, Belize Rural School defeated Forest Home Methodist School by the score of 7-4. The winning pitcher was Kelsey Pook and the losing pitcher was Marlene Bahadur. At the end of the championship, Annalese Guy of Silk Grass Methodist School was named the Most Valuable Player of the championship.
