Unitedville Rebels United continue on Winning Path in Softball Competition Print E-mail

The Cayo softball Association 2018 Senior Women’s Competition continued on Sunday 6th May, at the Mae Gordon Field in the City of Belmopan with three games on the schedule.

In game 1, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy defeated the Belmopan Capital City Emeralds by the score of 20 to 2 in four innings. The winning pitcher was Leandra Guy and losing pitcher, Aludy Hyde.

The Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy’s offence was keyed by Shakira Wade’s home run in the game.

In the second game of the day, Belmopan Bandits won over Esperanza Wolverines by a score of 13 to 6. The winning pitcher was Karlene Lewis and losing pitcher, Kimberlyn Ortega.

The Belmopan Bandits’ Sandy Jones had a home run in the game.

In the final game of the day, Unitedville Rebels United defeated the Belmopan Capital City Emeralds by a score of 12 to 1 run. The winning pitcher was Francine Salazar and losing pitcher, Aludy Hyde.

The competition will continue this coming weekend with three more games on the schedule.
