Belmopan Bandits whitewash Unitedville Rebels United in Cayo Softball competition Print E-mail

The Cayo Softball Association Senior Women’s competition continued on Sunday 13th May, 2018, at the Joan Garbutt Softball Stadium in Esperanza Village.

In the first game of the day, the Belmopan Bandits behind the pitching of Keneshia Sutherland whitewashed the defending champions Unitedville Rebels United by the score of 2-0. The losing pitcher in the game was Shareenie Soberanis.

In game two, Esperanza Wolverines edged out the winless Belmopan Capital City Emeralds by the score of 8-7.

The winning pitcher was Kimberlyn Ortega and the losing pitcher was Aludy Hyde.

And in the third and final game of the day, the defending champions Unitedville Rebels United spilt its day with a win and a lost when it defeated the former champions Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy by the score of 7-0 in five innings.

The winning pitcher was Francine Salazar and the losing pitcher was Shadalee Ho.

The competition will continue this coming weekend with three more games on the schedule.
