Emerging from the West, the tradition of the Mundialito continued at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in the Nation’s Capital. Closing ceremonies for the “Mundialito KYF2018” was held on Sunday by the Belmopan City Council. Mayor Khalid Belisle has congratulated all the winners of this year’s event.

In the U-13 category, Team Revolution came in first place, Spanish Lookout Ducks second place and YWAM third place. Also, in the U-15, Team Revolution came in first place, Rising Star second place and the bandits third place. Meanwhile; in the female grouping, Compre Flames came in first place, Medina FC second place and Valley Girls third place.

A release from the Belmopan City Council thanks all the Coaches and parents for their dedication and support during this tournament.  Thanks were also given to the President of FFB, Mr. Sergio Chuc for participating in the closing ceremony along with former Mayor, Mr. Simeon Lopez. The success of the Mundialito would not have been possible without the contributions from the Chairman of the Belmopan Football Association (BFA), Marlon Tillett, along with members, Peter Alvarez & Amilcar Umana, Councilor Louise Willis, Shane Orio and Deputy Mayor Angel Pastrana. Also thanks to The Development Finance Corporation and Arnold Enterprises for their contributions.
