Like clock-work and as planned, the Calla Creek Village Council conducted a river clean-up from Clarissa Falls to the Hammock Bridge this past Sunday. The council has released photos of the garbage collected and being deposited at the Western Sanitary Landfill.

A release from the Calla Creek Village Council, thanks it’s many supporters such as the Blancaneux Lodge Green Team , Black Rock (Manager Mr. Petier and Mrs. Petro Steunenberg) and the Friends for Conservation and Development for their support in making the clean-up a success.

The Calla Creek Village Council reminds all residents to not leave their trash on the bank or in the river.  The aim of the Calla Creek Village Council is to keep our rivers healthy.
