The Cayo Softball Association 2018 Senior Women’s Softball competition continued on Sunday 3rd June, at the Unitedville Village Softball pitch with three games.

In the final game of the day played, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy defeated the defending champions the Unitedville Rebels United by the score of 9-4.

The winning pitcher was Shadalee Ho and the losing pitcher was Francine Salazar.

With the win over the Unitedville Rebels United, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy as improved to a 5-4 record.

In the first game of the day, Unitedville Rebels United defeated the Belmopan City Emeralds by the score of 14-4.

The winning pitcher was Lisa Jones and the losing thrower was Aludy Arthurs.

In game two, Belmopan Bandits won over the Esperanza Wolverines by the score of 12-3. The winning pitcher was Keneshia Sutherland and the losing pitcher was Rose Vernon.

With the win, the Belmopan Bandits now post a 7-1 record to lead this year’s competition.

The competition will continue this coming Sunday with three more games at the Joan Garbutt Stadium in Esperanza Village.

In game one which is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Esperanza Wolverines will go up against Unitedville Rebels United and this will be followed by Belmopan Capital City Emeralds and in the final game of the day, Esperanza Wolverines will do battle with Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy.
