Wesley Upper School boys remains perfect in primary schools football competition Print E-mail

The Belize City Primary Schools Football Competition continues at the MCC Grounds here in Belize City.

On Friday 1st June, in the only game played in the girls’ competition, Belize Elementary School blanked Wesley Upper School by the score of 2-0.

The goals for Belize Elementary School were scored by Erin Sosa and Akina Alamina.

In the first of three games played in the boys’ competition, St. John’s Primary School defeated Belize Elementary School by the score of 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored by Shemar Gillett.

In game two, Ebenezer Methodist School defeated All Saints Anglican School by the score of 4-0. The goals for All Saints Anglican School were scored by Calvin Young (2) and Jalen Whyte (2).

And in the third game of the afternoon, St. Mary’s Anglican School defeated St. Luke Methodist School by the score of 3-0.  The goals for St. Mary’s Anglican School were scored by Keefer Pertau (2) and Scorian Stuart.

On Thursday 31st May, in the girls’ competition game, Queen Square Anglican School and Holy Redeemer School played to a 0-0 draw.

In the first game in the boys’ competition, Queen Square Anglican School defeated Holy Redeemer School by the score of 7-0. The goals for Queen Square Anglican School were scored by Jarren Rivers, Keedenshay, Taivan Gibson with 2 goals each and Albert Thurton with a single goal.

In the second boys game of the day, St. Martin de Porres School blanked its sister school St. Ignatius School by the score of 2-0. The goals for St. Martin de Porres School were scored by Delhart Dominguez and Brandon Smith.

And in the final game of the day, All Saints Anglican School defeated James Garbutt SDA School by the score of 3-1. The goals for All Saints Anglican School were scored by Kenyon Pratt while the only goal for James Garbutt SDA School was scored by Cameron Williams.

And on Wednesday 30th May, in the girls’ competition game played, St. Luke Methodist School shut-out its sister school Wesley Upper by the score of 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored by Indy Requena.

In the first boys’ game played, Wesley Upper School blasted Bethel Primary School by the score of 6-0. The goals for Wesley Upper were scored by Calvin Thurton (2), Devin Thurton (2), Shaquan Castillo and Tyrell Griffith.

In the second boys’ game of the day, St. Luke Methodist School blanked James Garbutt SDA School by the score of 2-0. The goals for St. Luke Methodist School were scored by Rasheed Parham and Leon Bodden.

And in the final game of the day, Muslim Community School blanked Calvary Temple School by the score of 2-0. The goals for Muslim Community School were scored by Davidson Ramos.
