In the spirit of Christian goodwill and friendship,  a team of Professors and students from Boise State University from Idaho visited the Eden Seventh Day Adventist Primary School in Santa Elena, Cayo, on Monday. Whilst at the Primary School the educators had a lunch with the teaching staff and assisted in a number of lesson activities and sports.

Boise State University (BSU) is a public research university in Boise, Idaho.  Founded in 1932 by the Episcopal Church, it became an independent junior college in 1934, and has been awarding baccalaureate and master’s degrees since 1965.

According to team leader Tim Lowe, the visit to Eden was an opportunity to assist twelve of their students to become administrators.

The visiting team from Boise have visited Xunantunich and will also be visiting Caye Caulker to give educational instructions there.

“We are very grateful to be accepted into the Country and to have the opportunity to learn with and from the teachers here,” says Tim Lowe, just after giving some physical education instructions to students at Eden Primary.
