Jamal Kelly scored 18 points against Krem Radio/Hard Rock Sounds.The Belize City Interoffice Basketball Competition continued on Monday July 11, 2011, at the Belize City Centre with two games on the schedule. In the first game, War Paint Desig edged Mirab & Co by the score of 54-51. The top scorers for War Paint Desig were Jay Jex with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Withman Williams with 10 points, and 6 rebounds.


For Mirab & Co the top scorers were Carlson Barrera with 15 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals, and Elton Anderson also with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.

In game two, Port of Belize also edged BWS by the score of 64-63. The top scorers for the Port of Belize were Vince Estrada with 20 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists, and Lennox Bowman with 15 points, and 5 rebounds, while the top scorers for BWS were Ashley Hemsley with 19 points, and Jamir Enriquez with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.

On Sunday July 10, five games were played in the continuation of the competition. In game one, Krem Radio defeated BWS in overtime by the score of 71-69. The top scorers for Krem Radio were Ronald Rivers with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists and Elvis Olivera with 13 points and 5 rebounds. For BWS, the top scorers were Jamir Enriquez with 17 points and 9 rebounds, and Karim Thompson with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

In game two, Alamilla’s Furniture/ Ministry of Education defeated Bowen & Bowen by the score of 68-52. The top scorers for Alamilla’s Furniture/Ministry of Education were Greg Rudon with 15 points, and 5 rebounds, and Rhenton Belisle with 14 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.

For Bowen & Bowen, the top scorers were Steve Bonnel with 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Michael Staine with 10 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.

In the third game of the day, Police defeated Belize Bank by the score of 62-61. The top scorers for the Police were Chester Noralez with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals, and Sheldon Williams with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Meanwhile, the top scorers for the Belize Bank were Darwin Leslie with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals, and Kaschief Thomas with 18 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 2 steals.
In game four, Roe Group defeated Guardian Housing by the score of 71 -62. The top scorer for Roe Group was Kareem Elrington with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. For Guardian/Housing the top scorers were Bernard Felix with 15 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals, and Calbert Carcamo with 12 points and 7 rebounds.

In the fifth and final game of the day, CYDP defeated Youth for the Future by the score of 77-45. The top scorers for CYDP were Earl Johnston with 15 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals, and Leon Williams with 9 points and 4 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the top scorers for Youth for the Future were Marvin Skeet with 17 points and 4 rebounds, and Ervin Miguel with 6 points and 5 rebounds.

On Friday July 8, in the first of three games played, Alamillas Furniture/Ministry of Education defeated Roe Group handily by the score of 59-51. The top scorers for Alamillas Furniture/Ministry of Education were Greg Rudon with 26 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals, and Kevin Lorenzo with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals, while the top scorers for Roe Group were Arthur Neal with 9 points and 18 rebounds, and Kareem Elrington also with 9 points and 7 rebounds.

In game two, Tuff e Nuff defeated War Paint Desig by the score of 53-49. The top scorers for Tuff e Nuff were Tyron Edwards with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals, and Densmore Edwards with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals.

Meanwhile, the top scorers for War Paint Desig were Jay Jex with 14 points and 5 rebounds, and Withman Williams with 9 points and 16 rebounds.

In the third and final game of the day, Telemedia defeated Krem Radio/Hard Rock Sounds by the score of 78-57. The top scorers for Telemedia were Jamal Kelly with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 1 block, and Dale Turner with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 10 steals.

The top scorers for Krem Radio/Hard Rock Sounds were Ronald Rivers with 19 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals, and Glenford Flowers with 10 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
