Danalyn MurilloCharges have been dropped against Danalyn Murillo, the mother of Teddy Murillo who was killed while going home on February 27th, 2010. At the time the family claimed and continues to claim that a police officer was involved in his murder.

Since then there has been a public back and forth between police constable David Griffith and family members of Murillio including his mother Danalyn who was charged for using insulting words on Griffith during a PUP convention for Port Loyola on Sunday March 30th.According to PC David Griffith, she uttered the words, “Da You David Griffith killed my son Teddy Murrillo, one of these days you wa get it”. Murillo had additionally been charged with Common Assault upon Griffith. Those charges were not filed until June 27th.

On Tuesday August 23rd Murillo appeared in Magistrate’s Court where the charges were withdrawn. There was no explanation as to the reason for the withdrawal however we understand that PC Griffith is non too pleased with the decision and was willing to proceed with the charges.
