Troy Bowen, a 23 year-old stevedore, and a Belize City resident, was once again targeted by gunmen in another failed attempt on his life on Wednesday August 24th. About two weeks ago, Bowen was shot to the right side of his head.

Once again, his family has refused to speak to the media. Police say that he reported that at about 8:15 a.m., he was walking on Marigold Lane when two gunmen opened fire on him, and made their escape.
He suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder, and he was immediately rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where he is listed as being in stable condition.

Police say that they are looking for Gilbert Craig and Theodore Andrews in connection with this incident.

Prior to this shooting, Bowen was attacked on August 4th, 2011, at around 9:10 p.m. He told police that time that he was socializing on Black Orchid Street with a female when he heard someone shooting in his direction; he then felt his face burn.

He was only grazed on the right side of his head near the temple area. Police have not indicated whether the two incidents are connected in any way.
