Woman remanded for breaking into her step father’s house Print E-mail

Twenty two year old Kendra Hamilton appeared in Magistrate’s court before Magistrate Emmerson Banner where she was charged for burglary and damage to property.

Her step father, Christopher Petillo, reported to police that on Wednesday August 17th Hamilton had broken into his house located in Hattieville and stole a number of items. In the process of breaking in Hamilton allegedly damaged two padlocks and a window.

She pleaded not guilty when she appeared in Magistrate’s court. The court prosecutor objected to bail since she is out on bail for a similar offences. Nonetheless bail was granted in the sum of 5 thousand dollars however she was unable to meet it and was remanded to the Belize Central Prison.
