Man remanded for fondling 13 year old girl Print E-mail

Lincoln FlowersA Belize City laborer appeared in Magistrate’s Court on Friday September 16th after being accused of fondling a 13 year old girl. 39-year-old Lincoln Flowers was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s court #2 before Magistrate Edd. P. Usher on a single charge of aggravated assault of an indecent nature upon a 13-year-old girl.


Flowers was unrepresented and pleaded not guilty to the charge. There was no objection to bail and he was offered bail in the sum of $5,000 plus one surety of the same amount. He was unable to meet bail and was remanded to prison until October 24th.

The allegations being made by the 13-year-old child is that on August 24th, Flowers came into a room at a home she was staying and began to fondle her inappropriately. The child later reported the matter to a relative who reported the incident to the Belize Social Services Department and the police was contacted.
